Boxing Day and Snow

Just got back from a visit to Mom in Florida. Nice weather down there, especially compared to DC. We just started getting some snow. Happy Boxing Day!

A full deck

I haven't posted in a while. The point of the story is no longer about being in a new place, and for the longest time the Lord of the Universe was here with me. He left back for Oz back in early October - we skype most every day if not twice a day.

Today's a special day - I'm now a full deck! Yes, 52 years: finally playing with a full deck. It's a low-key day, but the high point of just about any day, this day included, is play time with Supadog. She loves the cooler weather. Here's a little video clip of a play we did a few days ago.

Haiti

I went to Haiti back in November for my work, and while in Port-au-Prince, stayed at the Hotel Montana. It was one of the nicest hotels in Port-au-Prince, on a hill above the city not far from Petionville.

I found out yesterday that the hotel was completely destroyed. It's all a little nerve-rattling. I am such a lucky guy.

Cold and Supadog

This winter has been a great time for Supadog. She loves the cold, the snow. It's like she's a young dog again.

Oh yeah, didn't get that house
