Been a little while

I just noticed I haven't done any posts in 2012. Well, here goes.

This year's project is RAGBRAI, the (Des Moines) Register's Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa. This is the 40th year they're doing it, and I've been training with two friends who plan to do it this year as well.

Our longest ride so far has been 50 miles, mostly along the C and O Canal Towpath. This weekend has been pretty much a wash. We started out on a ride yesterday but then my right pedal broke. Yikes! I need to get it replaced. There's a lot more material on this on Supadog's Facebook page.
